Penske Honored by Olivet Boys & Girls Club
Penske had much to celebrate at the first annual Leaders and Legends Dinner hosted by the Olivet Boys & Girls Club in Reading, Pennsylvania.
笔别苍蝉办别鈥檚 Senior Vice President of Procurement and Fleet Planning Paul Rosa received the Champion of Youth award for his ongoing support of the club. Dubbed by Olivet as the 鈥淜ing of the Kiss-A-Pig empire,鈥 Rosa raised more than $286,000 during the charity鈥檚 Kiss-A-Pig fundraisers in 2013 and 2018.
Rosa began supporting in 2007 as a volunteer at their Blue Mountain Camp. Today, he remains active with the organization and serves on the board of directors.
鈥淰olunteerism and giving back are the culture of my work environment 鈥 a tradition started by founder Roger Penske 50 years ago,鈥 Rosa said.
Penske received the Partner for Great Futures award for supporting the Olivet Boys & Girls Club through corporate donations and volunteer efforts. According to the event program, 鈥淥livet has been so fortunate to be the recipient of this passion for philanthropy and for that, we say thank you!鈥
Brian Hard, 笔别苍蝉办别鈥檚 president and CEO, accepted the Penske award.
A chartered member of the Boys & Girls Club of America, the Olivet Boys & Girls Club operates eight afterschool clubhouses in Reading and Pottstown, Pennsylvania, for children ages 6-18. The organization promotes academic success, healthy lifestyles, and good character and citizenship.
