Retro on the Riverfront Benefits Local Charity

Penske and the are working together to host Retro on the Riverfront from noon to 5 p.m. May 5 at the Riverfront Park, 255 Riverfront Drive, Reading, Pa.


The event will feature performances at 3 p.m. by the , an ABBA tribute band. Attendees are encouraged to come dressed in their best 70s/80s garb to be a part of breaking the Guinness World Record for “largest gathering of ABBA impersonators” as everyone sings along to “Dancing Queen.” Attendees should be there by 2:30 p.m. to participate.

executive Paul Rosa will be on hand to raise money for the . Rosa, the company’s vice president of vehicle supply and planning, is one of a dozen local candidates vying to raise money for the non-profit’s Kiss-A-Pig contest. The person who raises the most funds will earn the honor of laying a smooch on potbellied pig Maycie May at the Boys & Girls Club Steak and Burger Dinner on May 22.

Retro on the Riverfront also will feature a variety of food and beverages, raffles, gift card drawings, children’s entertainment and a Retro Car Show.
