The acquisition of Star Truck Rentals, Inc. increases Penske’s existing fleet by approximately 1,900 vehicles and adds 18 locations throughout Michigan and Indiana. The acquisition of Kris-Way Truck Leasing, Inc. increases Penske’s existing fleet by approximately 900 vehicles and adds seven locations throughout Maine and New Hampshire. Penske is now integrating the facilities, staff, vehicles and processes of both companies into its existing network
The 20,040-square-foot facility sits on 8.35 acres. It is equipped with four drive through service bays, an automated wash bay, a three-lane fuel island, two tire carousels, overhead service bay cranes, a building canopy and high-tech rapid lifting and lowering mobile column truck lifts.

The facility is also outfitted with the company's proprietary fully digital and voice-directed truck fleet and , a value-added resource to help customers address issues and options related to onboard technology systems (ELDs, telematics, onboard cameras, etc.).
"Our previous facility in the region served us well for a number of years, but recent growth and a desire to continuously improve our customers' experience led us to creating this brand new and truly state-of-the-art facility," explained Mike Pritchard, senior vice president for Penske's North Central Region. "The building is conveniently located off U.S. Route 51 and Interstate 39, offering customers easy access to major transportation corridors."
"Our previous building no longer suited our needs. Our customer base in the region is growing and we required more space to service the agricultural, manufacturing and various other customers we have in the area," explained Mike Pritchard, senior vice president for Penske's North Central Region. "We are now conveniently located right off I-94 offering customers easy access to a major thoroughfare between Detroit and Chicago."

The state-of-the-art facility is 19,360-square-feet, sits on 4.75 acres and has seven truck bays and one wash bay.

recently celebrated the opening of its new state-of-the-art facility in Phoenix, Arizona. Located at 1100 N. 43rd Ave and situated on 15.4 acres, and spanning 29,615-square-feet, this is the largest facility Penske has built to date.
The maintenance shop includes five truck bays, two truck box repair bays, one automatic wash bay, and a fuel island. The facility is equipped with high-tech rapid lifting and lowering mobile column truck lifts, providing a safe environment for technicians to service vehicles.
“This is our ninth full-service facility in the Phoenix area,” said Rick Pytlik, senior vice president for Penske’s western region. “We are thrilled to continue growing in the Phoenix district and to offer our customers a convenient, expansive and modern location in West Phoenix. The added capabilities and capacity at this facility will help maximize fleet uptime for our customers.”
