Penske Truck Rental is proud to announce that (PVA) has selected the organization to receive the , for its continued financial support of PVA’s mission to ensure disabled veterans have access to health care, benefits and jobs. The award will be presented to Penske Truck Rental at the that take place October 6, 2015.
“We’re proud to honor for all the support they’ve provided to our organization,” said national president of Paralyzed Veterans of America. “This award is just one way to say thank you for their continued commitment to our mission of ensuring that disabled veterans have all the resources they need to thrive after serious injury.”
In 2013, Penske Truck Rental launched its . The program invites Penske’s rental customers to donate $1 or more to the PVA when renting a one-way moving truck. The company matches each $1 donation. As of June 2015, has raised $870,275.

The annual Mission: ABLE Awards raises funds to benefit PVA programs and services, all of which are provided free to veterans. Last year, a record-breaking $900,000 from corporate supporters was raised in support of the mission through the Mission: ABLE Awards.
