Quest for Quality Awards
Penske Logistics has been given two Quest for Quality Awards in the third-party logistics provider category, in transportation management and value-added warehousing and distribution solutions.
In the TM category, Penske received top scores in the carrier selection/negotiation; order fulfillment; transportation distribution; and logistics information systems areas.
For warehousing and distribution solutions, the company scored well in the inventory management and logistics information systems sections.
This year, Logistics Management magazine had over 4,100 ballots cast from logistics and supply chain decision makers, resulting in 142 transportation and logistics services providers who earned Quest for Quality gold.
Great Supply Chain Partner
Penske Logistics is recognized among the 100 Great Supply Chain Partners by SupplyChainBrain. The publication conducted a six-month online poll of supply chain professionals requiring a qualified response, asking them to nominate vendors and service providers whose solutions have made a significant impact on their company's efficiency, customer service and overall supply chain performance.
